Mixed Feelings About New Year's with teammates

Spending New Year's with coworkers isn’t exactly my idea of fun, but I don’t have much of a choice. Honestly, they could have given us time off or even a monetary bonus instead. Of course, I can’t really complain or say this out loud—it would probably come across as ungrateful. Lol.

Damage skin

Some people just love giving unsolicited opinions, even when they’re hurtful. If you don’t have something kind to say, just don’t. Addy is the worst—he’s constantly commenting on my appearance, something I’d never do to anyone. Recently, he called out my skin texture in front of others, saying it’s “damaged” despite my skincare efforts. Then he tried pitching me a product as a “sponsorship.” Seriously?

I felt humiliated, like the ground could swallow me whole. I used to feel guilty for thinking badly of him, but not anymore. No regrets now.
